Ashley has a varied background which began by venturing off to Sudbury to complete her first round of college at Cambrian in Social Services – Gerontology. Once free from school she stuck around an extra year working at the hospital before returning home to Huntsville. Upon her triumphant return, she traded dress pants for work pants and took up maintenance duties working along side her father, and grandfather at their family resort. By 2014 she was both managing the resort and serving as bookkeeper under the careful guidance of her cousin with the occasional rewards of jelly beans and coffee to keep her going. After selling their resort in 2015 Ashley stayed on with the new owners, while also taking a walk on the wild side by once again enrolling in school, this time following her newly discovered love of numbers and the organization that is bookkeeping. With her love of coffee firmly in place, she completed Georgian College’s Bookkeeping program in Bracebridge and retired to the relaxing life of resort management.
In 2018 Ashley decided it was time for a new adventure and began working her way to 4 Pillars where, early in 2019, she joined the team. She has come to love every minute of the work day, having found the perfect balance of chaos and organization. She bounds in each day with her trademark coffee, ready to help even our most stressed and unsure client find their way through the process. She can often be found oblivious to her surroundings as she delves into the necessary details to help our clients – careful, she startles easily. When not hiding in her office surrounded by papers, she is off finding new ways to make her mother cringe. If it’s not swimming with sharks and stingrays, she can be found tripping on flat ground and upstairs. It’s not easy being clumsy, but she does it with such grace and poise, it’s comical to watch.
